Junior Provincials / Warrior Ludus\' Was A Success

The first junior provincials was a great success, although the meet was small, the lifts were big. With a Sub-Junior lifter from Charlottetown, stealing the show, breaking 2 national records in the process. Kenzie Gertley-Gregan started in the highschool system, and transferred over to the PEIPLA. The meet also seen lifters compete in the Warrior Ludus Open, where we had lifters from across the maritimes compete. Matt MacKay took best lifter in the WLO, while Logan Vessey took best lifter in the Juniors.

PEI Lifters Storm Through Nova Scotia

Congratulations to the PEI Lifters who took part in the annual event in Nova Scotia this past weekend. Aiden O\'Rourke, Chris O\'Rourke, Naeem Rohani, Tyler Ramsay and Matt Ross all walked away with medals this weekend. This was Aiden\'s first meet at only 14 years old. Tyler had the heaviest squat and deadlift of the day with a 280kg squat and a 290kg deadlift. The meet ran smoothly and was well put together by the folks in Nova Scotia.
